This is perfect for spring/summer camping. The mummy hood is super helpful when it’s chilly to keep out the hood around your neck. Backpacked in Shenandoah NP last week of May. Chose this bag because it is TINY when compressed and lightweight. 1st night was 45 and rainy- i wore joggers and l/s thinsulate shirt and socks to bed. I got chilly but pulled the mummy hood up and cinched it and was fine. 2nd night was 55 and this was perfect- even unzipped it b/c I got warm. The zippers will catch- it’s an inexpensive bag! So know that quality bags come with quality zippers- inexpensive bags come with inexpensive zippers. Zip slowly and I use one finger on the inside when zipping/unzipping to keep the inner fabric from getting stuck in the zipper. It’s perfect for backpacking- stows very small and it’s very lightweight. When using compression straps- do it slow and steady and even and it won’t rip. Pull hard, fast, or pop sided and you will rip the sack. Know these things and buy the bag if you don’t want to spend big $.I ordered 5 of these one for me and one for each of my kids while we traveled for over a month sleeping and camping all over Hawaii. These didn't necessarily give any cushion to the ground if there was a hard floor but they were perfect for temperature and it was great how they connected to make a bigger blanket as well. I also would say they were totally waterproof, they did get wet on occasion but dried fine and quick and didn't change the smell at all. (I had read a comment that they smelled funky for someone but that wasn't our case at all)Overall great sleeping bag. Also my kids are 5'9 pretty thin but still fit them fine.They are extremely thin. Very little padding in the sleeping bag. However very compact and small which is easy to carry. Need for summer camping so they just might work. Need to take a couple blankets to put over the sleeping bags as the night gets cold.Really liked the bag but it did not keep the bugs out while using. I needed to use heat to kill any hiding fleas and or bed bugs. After taking out of the dryer I found it beyond repair. Too many rips in the seams. Picture shows the threading shrinking on top right where it is bunching up. Top left is just a couple of inches down where it pulled apart. At bottom of picture you see one of several openings where there are seams. Too bad it was stitched with this kind of thread! JUST DON’t use hot water or heat when cleaning! I really did like it and loved the compression sack and the size and weight!This bag is perfect for warm weather. I run warm and am able to utilize this bag even to cooler temps in the fall and spring. Great bag. Super soft and EASILY packable.Great sleeping bag if you want to keep from carrying a really big one. As for comfort, it was nice. I used it tent camping in the hot Florida weather. Great for one of the mild nights but the hottest and humid night not so much but what blanket or sleeping bag would ?. Overall good purchase, plus I like the pink!Very compact. Very light.Easily packable and transportable.Very comfortable. Nice material.Good to 50 degrees. Perfect for warm weather camping.Also used as a good blanket.One possible draw back.It is plenty long. I'm six foot and it can cover my head.But it is not very wide. That is no problem for me. I am relatively thin.I wonder though, if a person of girth would be able to zip this up and not be a bit tight.A good purchase. Just what i wanted for warm weather camping.Good: it is compact yet will still keep you warm on a 55°F night. Bad: I’m 5’4”, a chubby 170, women’s size 12/14 and this *just* made it width-wise past my hips. Very little room to spare, had to incrementally shimmy myself into the bag as I zipped into it. Perfect for my granddaughter, though. Overall, good diet decision-maker.
