These seem like a great item. They extend the landing area of the Mavic Mini, raising it off the ground and creating clearance between the ground and the camera, which is extremely important, escpecially on the Mini. When I first started using these, I had just gotten my Mavic Mini and was very new to drones in general. My first time out, I kept getting disconnects from the camera and the drone. I panicked thinking that I had gotten a bad drone. I took the extenders off, packed up the drone, and headed home. I decided to test the drone at home and didn’t bother with the extenders since I was just going to do a quick test. The drone flew perfectly, no disconnects, no problems. Huh. Must’ve been a fluke..... Round 2. Next day, went back out, putting the extenders on, and went to launch the drone. Before I could even get it off the ground, the camera disconnected. I reset the drone, the remote, and the iPhone and tried again. I launched the drone, got about 15 feet off the ground, and lost both camera and GPS signal. The drone did a return to home and landed itself. Ugh. I took the extenders off to pack up the drone (it won’t fit in the case with them on), and headed home. Once again, did a test at home, and the drone worked fine. This is when I got suspicious. I did some reading and found the antennae for the Mavic Mini are in the front legs! These extenders are effectively limiting or interfering with the signal. The third time I went out to fly, I left these extenders at home and I had NO disconnects of any kind. I used all 3 batteries on my drone, flying for almost an hour, with not one single reception problem. I went 390 feet up and almost 2,000 feet away.I bought these because I was worried about the limited height of the Mavic Mini and wanted to get the camera off the ground. Instead, I have purchased a landing pad which, while it does not raise the camera profile away from the ground, does help protect it. I strongly suggest NOT buying these, or any other leg extensions, unless they mount to the drone some other way other than the 2 front legs. This is ok, but the front legs don’t lock in place very well. I’ve had one of the two legs collapse on a soft landing more than once.Excellent customer service and a great company to do business with. Look forward to many more great productsAnother great Drone Valley product. The screws were loose when I got them, and the rear legs would not hold. Tried loctite to no avail. replaced the screws with slightly larger ones. After a couple of landing, they fell apart. Tried contacting them via their website and with email, but no response. Sadly the product design was better than some of the others, but poorly made.
